( TEMPEST. ) |
The Princess of Storms, with a stormy temper hidden behind clear skies. One of the major players in the Wood and diametrically opposed to the Kitsune Girl. She appeared to be one of the more benevolent of fae where the newcomers were involved, which led Peter to seek her out after Neal's death. In a bid to keep his adopted family safe following his planned suicidal attempt to bring Neal back, he agreed to be a Knight of her Court. The full weight of this deal is slowly becoming apparent to him. |
( KITSUNE. ) |
The Fox of Flowers - feral, unpredictable, manipulative, dangerous. One of the major players in the Wood and diametrically opposed to anyone's agenda but her own. What that agenda is, no one knows for sure - but she's already shown her interest in Murphy and Neal, thus making her hatred for Peter entirely reciprocated. She's since backed off of Neal following his knighthood, but he knows better than to think it's over. |
( WHITE EYES. ) |
Shapeshifter. Kitsune's right hand. Abuses pronouns like nobody's business. The front man to Kitsune's chessmaster, White Eyes runs her Carnival and takes care of his mistress' business while she's indisposed. But that doesn't mean he's without ideas of his own, or favorite subjects to torture and prod at. Peter is one of those, and he isn't pleased to have lost a toy to Tempest. His anger won't remain silent forever. |
( NEAL CAFFREY. ) |
Con man. Partner. Best friend. Reason Peter'll have a heart attack by 45. The friendship between the two men has been tempered into something even stronger - and more fragile. Seeing Neal die right in front of him broke Peter spectacularly and being ready to trade himself for Neal (as well as inadvertently killing someone else in the process) - it very nearly broke Peter beyond repair and nearly caused Neal to cut ties entirely. But they powered through it and are brothers in all but blood. Needless to say that Peter has and will continue to do anything to protect Neal. |
( ELIZABETH BURKE. ) |
The wife, and so much more than that could ever entail. His heart and soul. Not even kidding about that. Going alone without her for eight months nearly did him in and by the time she arrived in the Wood he was a complete wreck. She's his other half, and while now he knows it's possible to go on without her and do what needs doing... He'll certainly be trying his damnedest not to let that happen again. El is his life. |
( HARRY DRESDEN. ) |
Wizard. Walking trouble magnet. Possible Sasquatch - still looking into that. Gave Peter his first real magic demonstration in the Wood against animal slavers. Since that first day, they've grown into allies and friends. Both are of a keen interest to both White Eyes and Tempest, with the latter going so far as to mark Dresden but not swearing him to fealty. He's Peter's go-to man for fae-type questions and a good man, even if he's a bit more suicidally reckless in helping people than most. Peter supposes that's part of his charm. |
( KARRIN MURPHY. ) |
Ex-cop. Firecracker. Way too much attitude and badass in that tiny body. They got off to a rocky start, but Murphy eventually got over her distaste for Feds and Peter got another friend and ally. They've stuck out faerie mindfucks and demonic cornfields and being turned into animals together. But of late that friendship has been on the rocks - partly because of Peter's dealings with Tempest and partly because Kitsune has started some insidious magicks to influence Murphy. Diametrically opposed bosses with magic fringe benefits are hella rough on buddy cop/agent relations. |
( NILL. ) |
Genetic experiment. Loli bait. Adopted daughter. Peter wasn't sure what to think of Nill when Neal brought her to their cabin, but the blond little thing quickly rooted in his heart and grew on him. She especially inspires his protective side being so small and frail; woe betide anyone who pokes the sleeping papa bear. |
( JO HARVELLE. ) |
Best friend's not-exactly-girlfriend. One of the family now. Jo started off as being more than badass in her own right, which instantly led to Peter liking her. A lot. As she and Neal became closer and closer, he liked her even more. She was a good kid, strong, and with a good head on her shoulders to help keep Neal grounded and safe. This is another friendship strained by his knighthood, seeing as Jo takes fae to be no better than demons and thus making Peter now soulless, or good as. But he's working on it. |
( ALEC MCDOWELL. ) |
Gene-spliced super soldier. Smart ass. Nose for trouble and getting into it. Peter really doesn't know how he manages to acquire so many boys with snarky smiles and complete disregard for rules but. It keeps happening. Alec grew on him slowly but surely to the point where Peter was nagging him almost as much as he did Neal. His disappearance from the Wood was one of the ones that hit hardest, and Peter still misses the guy. |
( THE DOCTOR. ) |
Alien. Time traveler. Grade-A pain in Peter's ass with a stupid accent. Peter met the Doctor after he'd inadvertently turned Neal into a fox... And things never really got past that. Peter sees the Doctor as needlessly reckless, grossly arrogant, and totally ignorant of common sense. These things alone would put him in bad graces, but the Doctor also had the uncanny ability to drag Neal along into things. But in the Wood it's all against the fae, so. He wouldn't leave the tweedy idiot to be eaten by monsters. ...Probably. |

( HARRY DRESDEN. ) |
Fae-bait brother from another trans-dimensional mother. ...Though the space edition of Dresden has no idea who he is, or any memory of their fun field trip into Babylon. This might present a problem. |
